(Peeps - the official Easter treat in our house!! We saw the Peeps bus on one of our treks to Texas, but I'll save that for another post.)
Since I last posted (which was a I ago - I humbly apologize for being so remiss), the temps have plummeted from 70's and 80's to 30's and 40's. :-( It seemed appropriate for Holy Week though - tough times for Jesus, tough times for us. Not as tough as his by any means... but tough nonetheless. The girls have been enjoying their mini-break while S has semi-bitterly attended school. All things considered he's been as good a sport about it as the girls were when he was off school for snow days and they weren't.
Today was a wonderful day to celebrate Christ's Resurrection and family. I made a nice breakfast for us, we spent time with my dear in-laws and then with my dear family. C served at Mass today - a special day all around. Oh, did I mention the Easter Bunny managed to bring more Webkinz for the girls and a movie for S? They were all happy - plus they cleaned up at the other homes we visited as well. Bottom line though - it was nice to spend time with family.
