I had the privilege to attend my dear nephew's senior play last night. He worked the lights, but I also knew a couple of the actors on stage, including the young lady playing Mrs. Meers. (Who knew she could sing that well??? She was a great singer and actress too. She did a wonderful job!!!!)
I'd seen this show when it toured for the Broadway series and was pleasantly surprised they allowed the exact same show to be done on a local level.
The actors and actresses, along with the musicians and (of course) lighting techs, did a great job on the musical last night. They really seemed to enjoy putting on this cheesey and fun show. And that helped the rest of us enjoy it even more. Bravo!!
