What do you do...

Ok, so what do you do when it's spring break and you're trapped... uh, I mean stuck.... uh, I mean get to spend quality time 24/7 with your children? Oh, and did I mention that darling hubby is out of town all week for work (and therefore can't provide a break)?

Keep 'em busy.

So we spent one day cleaning our bedrooms, decluttering and generally getting the house in order. It also included a trip to the dentist (to find out that C needs braces on her top teeth to "fix" them but it's not required). Thankfully no cavities for either girl - woo hoo!!

Then it was on to the Titanic and a nice day out with dear sis-in-law and her son. Two days down, three to go.

Wednesday the weather stayed nice and we hit the zoo and got C new uniform clothes (she's already outgrown everything I bought - in a bigger size so she could get through the year - in the fall).

Then later that today, the craziness began. It was slumber party central here.

Wednesday night 2 friends came to spend the night and all day Thursday. The third child joined us early Thursday morning. Thursday night my dear nephew (who was with us at Titanic) spent the night and all day Friday. Dear hubby comes home to sleep tonight... oh wait, that doesn't count as a sleepover does it?? Opps, sorry. Guess I got carried away!

The bottom line, by the time we pick up S from his parents this weekend, all three kids will have had chances to enjoy time with friends, work around the house and will have generally kept busy.
And that's a good thing. Especially since they'll be going back to school on Monday!

Way to go Flybabies! Nothing feels as spring-y as decluttering! It's like opening up the windows to fresh air!
