Shakespeare + Danny Zuko + Johnny Nogerelli + Elvis = Bleck

I admit I'm a bit (sometimes even more) of a theatre snob. I love watching live theatre.

That is, until last night.

I can't begin to describe the show I saw last night. I saw a show called All Shook Up, but I know it could also be called Twelfth Night meets Grease 1 meets Grease 2 with all of Elvis music. I really like Shakespeare, but because of this show's multiple personalities, you don't know whether to laugh, cry or moan because your head is throbbing. (By the end of the night I had a headache.) Some of the actors had outstanding voices and really sang their numbers wonderfully. Unfortunately they couldn't make up for a bad show to begin with. Mom and decided it was Ishtar with Elvis music. (For those who don't know, that's a REALLY REALLY BAD movie with Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty.)

Ok, I feel my head starting to hurt again just with writing this review. So I'm going to quit before it gets as bad as last night. Suffice to say I didn't like it.
