My lovable hubby was convinced that the special word in the movie (and in the Broadway show) contained every letter in the alphabet. The Broadway show spells the word out... and I wasn't pretty sure there wasn't a "z" in the word.
A agreed with me and bet her dad that she was right and he was wrong. Both grandma and I told A we'd back her up. So the final bet (after MUCH wrangling): If A was right she got a webkinz (very popular here). If she was wrong then she had to keep her room clean every day for a month and if she missed a day she lost tv and computer for a month. I thought that merited 2 webkinz, but not my hubby.
So the results? It's spelled: SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS.
Do you see a "Z"? Me neither.
I'm pleased to introduce you to Girly-Girl. A is now the proud owner of her first webkinz. She was so excited she was up at the crack of dawn (after a late night) and promptly woke her daddy at 10 am to take her to get her first webkinz.

Too funny! We love Webkinz here too. Sophia now has 2 of them and Isaac has 3! (yes, my 11 year old boy!) Love 'em! You'll have to email me so A and Sophia can exchange user names and become "friends" in webkinz world!
PS! And just for the record...that was NOT a fair bet! Good thing A won!
Ok - I have no idea what a Webkinz is - from the pic it looks like a stuffed animal but I'm sure it is much more than that.
Do tell...
Webkinz are a stuffed animal with a special code. You go to their website, register the code and then your Webkinz animal shows up on the screen with his/her own house, etc. You can interact with other Webkinz and if your friend has a Webkinz you can put them on your friend list and play together online. It's Millsbery/Club Penguin with a stuffed animal thrown in. You have to feed them, take care of them, etc. It's only for a year, but you can extend by buying a subscription. The girls enjoy it! Just wait - your time will come. :-)
