Is this the real thing or are we in for a rude awakening?

Kaya suns herself at our back door while enjoying cool breezes.

My bedroom curtains blowing in the breeze.

It's warm outside, sun shining, computer recording 69 degree temps with a cool breeze that's ever so gently blowing my curtains in the house. We've had the house opened up the last few days, airing out all the winter blahs.

This change in weather has changed us for the better. I decluttered a bunch of stuff, C and A cleaned up in their room, and S cleaned out the van - including sweeping and rubbing on some armoral. Everyone's attitudes seem to have changed for the better too - a nice break from the snottiness and crankiness that comes with being cooped up way too long.

I'm finding, though, that this lovely warm weather is wrecking havoc in other areas of the house. Namely my two older children who are both in desperate need of shorts. C has grown so much she's practically outgrown her uniform skort - which was purchased in a bigger size than necessary last fall. Ugh!! Guess all the money saved on heating costs will be sucked up by clothing costs!
