S's 18th birthday has come and gone, but not without some celebrating. Since he had to go to school and work on his birthday, there wasn't much time for celebrating the actual day. So instead we had a surprise party and invited family and friends to join us (where else) at Barleycorns. (This time it was S's choice not my loving husband's.) :-) He was mostly surprised about the party and I think he had fun. Truly the night was capped off by his getting to spend the night at his cousin's since they were off school the next day due to the weather. We're so blessed to have S in our lives. He's truly a wonderful part of our family.
