Another snow day S enjoys without his sisters

Well, here it is another snow day for S. He's thrilled (he's sleeping as I type) of course. But his sisters aren't so much. While it's a fun day at school (teachers have an appreciation lunch so the kids get a movie and snack), they wanted to stay home with a snow day. They haven't had one yet this year - but this is already S's 2nd.

They're calling for more snow overnight tonight - so chances are he'll be off tomorrow. And if God is good, He'll let is snow enough that the girls will get a day off too. Not too many days you'll hear that out of me. After all it wasn't so long ago that the girls were off school at least one day a week from the end of Christmas break until Spring break. And they didn't get spring break = it was their first full week of school. That was the year the youth kept praying for snow and I told them to stop before parents like me went pyscho.

It's already not like that this year, so I truly don't mind a snow day here and there. But if it becomes a habit......
