I can finally start to breathe a little. Things are finally falling into place and getting completed. We've got 2 big Confirmation prep programs completed (1 is a 12 hour fast that I run for the youth - a huge undertaking for 40 kids!). The CCD program is up and running with only one glitch so far (and that was after I had spent the day at a funeral for my parents' best friend - it was a long week for them and my brother and I). Both Jr. and Sr. High Youth Groups are up and running pretty well. And that's just the work stuff.
It's the end of the quarter for S who is working hard to either bring up or maintain grades, plus get ready for basketball tryouts and work a bunch of hours. This is his senior year, so he wants to go out with a bang. We also had his senior pictures taken. Only 2 turned out good - which helps when it comes time to pick them out.
C is also working to either maintain or bring up grades. She's also working hard on soccer. Her team is 1-2-2 this season as a Comp 1 team (second hardest division). They have 3 games left and a tourney out of town. Chances are they won't stay the "B" team for her soccer club, but that's ok. They needed the challenge. They're playing teams that are bigger and more aggressive. Gives us a taste of what's to come.
For A life is pretty good. She has her schoool trip to the state capital today - she couldn't wait. Then there's her cooking classes, which she loves. She can't wait to get back. I wish the chef school was closer so she could go every week, but we get her there every week we can. It'll be easier when C isn't in soccer and there's no work obligations for me. She's also in choir at school and loves it. Those are the only two activities she wants to be in - as she said, "anything more and I would get stressed out." Her grades are excellent, she's turned a corner with friends (so no more drama at this point) and she's in a good place.Hope you enjoy the pics. I had these taken as a gift for Dear Hubby for our anniversary. We've been married 14 years and have been together for 19 years. I truly can't believe it's been that long. We've come a long way together and we're looking forward to the years ahead. He truly is the love of my life and I'm blessed and grateful to have him.

What a happy sports-loving family! I can't believe how big the girls are getting, and are as pretty as ever! You look great too! You know you're going to have to give your mom copies of the pics too!
