I've got to pick up S in a few minutes from work. It's his last night since he wants to watch his sis play soccer one more time before he heads home for the summer. I think it's cool he wants to check out her game. She's really kicked her game up to a whole new level than in the fall. It'll be nice for him to see that.
A gets to enjoy a pizza party and bridal shower for her teacher tomorrow. She's flying high - no more books, no more homework, no more anything but FUN. Can't beat that.
And C?? Well, she's just enjoying being outside, riding bikes, hanging out with the next door neighbor (a nice kid who is a soph in high school). She's loving the no homework thing.
I guess this is the beginning of relaxation for all of us. A good thing too - we all need and deserve it.
By the way - sorry for the lack of pics. I honestly haven't been taking any, and my dear dad hasn't forwarded any pics to me. It'll change this summer. After all, can't have a blog called Pix and Words without pix. Wouldn't be right!
