The calm before the storm

Things are in a holding pattern this week. C has soccer, S has work, my dear niece had her final band concert, S has 2 massive dental appointments to finish up his work before he goes home, school work is slowing down... yep the school year is winding down.

However, next week begins crazy time. There's S's last day off school (due to primary election), C soccer game followed by another one the next night, BIG family gathering at Reds game for an out of town friend (that coincides with my dear niece's 18th b-day), S will head home after the last day of school, and... I know there's more but I can't think of it right now. Wish I had some pics to share, but honestly all we have lately is soccer pics with a few odd ones from Mother's Day. I'll try to get one of the 3 kids on the last day of school posted - you'll just have to wait for that one.

Me - I'm trying to live by my resolution to live in the moment/enjoy the moment. To that end I'm working on 2 big projects: laundry/housework and youth ministry stuff. I've got lots to do for both and rather than bemoaning it, I'm tackling each of them one piece at a time. It'll all get done - at some point! :-)

You know, I always thought I would love taking care of the house - as I liked it when I was working and DIDN'T have time - now that I do it is the biggest pain in the butt. Can't be because I have two little people destroying it faster than I can clean! :)

Glad to hear the crazy schedule is winding down!
