Happy Birthday to my dear step-son, S!!! He turned 19 this week. S has been a great addition to our family and we're thrilled to have him. His gift this year was his class ring - a good thing to get since he gradutates in May! It's something he's been wanting and was patient enough to wait for his birthday.
Congrats to A!! She was accepted into the Super Saturday program and gets to take the Musical Theater workshop (her first choice). She adores my youngest brother and his girlfriend. Both are into theater. Girlfriend is a stage manager and A is hoping that's the "role" she'll get in this class. She wants to be just like Girlfriend (not a bad thing to aspire to!!) Have fun, C!! Tonight is C's second school dance. She's extremely excited about it. I chaperoned the first one but she BEGGED me not to chaperone this one. (And I did behave myself - no dancing, no following, etc.) So this afternoon she'll go to her friend's house to get ready for the dance and then will go back to spend the night afterward. The only condition? That she call me with all the scoop when she gets back to friend's house. :-)
