Our family bleeds blue and gold - University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish blood. Last year C enjoyed their soccer camp and had a ball. Was inspired to take her play to new levels as well as work hard in school so that she could maybe one day go to school there and play soccer. A long way away, but still a good goal!

I had the opportunity to go to their NDVisionsCYM program for youth ministers. A wonderful week on campus, playing college student a bit and getting inspired and ready for a new ministry year with teens and young adults. I wish I could put into words how awesome it was on so many levels!! Just not that good.
S spent a week there in basketball camp. He was the best big man there according to his coach and was in the finals for all competitions. His report card was filled with As with only a few Bs. I watched him play in the 3 on 3 tournament on the last day. He scored several points, had several blocked shots - I was so proud!!

The campus there is beautiful and peaceful. And I loved being a "college" student again. Navigating the dining hall, enjoying Starbucks for breakfast (although it wasn't as popular back then but you know what I mean), looking out my dorm window and seeing the shining Golden Dome. It was awesome and I'm thrilled that I could share an experience with C and S. Now if they would just get a cooking camp there then A could go too....
