Ok, I've been reminded that it's been FAR TOO LONG since I've posted anything on here. So here is an update. I'm sorry for the length, but promise that I will post more often.

C recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation. We're so proud of her!! She worked very hard to prepare and took it very seriously. Her grades this year are stellar, and she was asked to represent her school at the Diocesan Religion competition. She played basketball for her school and improved tremendously over the season. (She hadn't played since 5th grade, so she was pretty rusty in the beginning.) Now she's running track for the same high school she played soccer for, which is where she'll be attending high school. While she doesn't always want to go to practice, she is enjoying being with her teammates. This spring C will also referee soccer again - a good thing since she has so many things she wants to buy!

A has been involved with Super Saturday again, taking Musical Theatre and Polymer Clay last term and taking 2 theatre courses this term. She loves the theatre and is even planning on shadowing her future aunt (and my future sis-in-law) as she works as Stage Manager. She is also still involved in band (playing the flute) and enjoying it very much. Her grades are outstanding as well, and we're waiting to see how she did on her "special" test for her talent program. She continues reading everything she can get her hands on, but is developing a love for the Kindle (my sis-in-law has one) and is helping me lobby her dad to get one for us! A is also planning to run track for her school (the first time it's being offered). It will make for a hectic spring, but I'm glad she's trying something new.
S is with his lovely girlfriend D and all is going well for them. We see them every few weeks or so, which is wonderful.
In other news:
The girls and I are excited about my brother's wedding later this year. The girls will be junior bridesmaids and had a blast finding their dresses for the wedding. It will definately make for an exciting summer!

My dear hubby is doing well. He was working like crazy for a while, but that's calmed down some. It's wonderful having him home during the week. He's a lot happier too.
I'm staying busy with work stuff, as well as home stuff. This spring I'm hoping to paint the house. I'm looking forward to some upcoming events including NDVision and NCYC. I'm truly excited at the thought of spending a week at ND again - a wonderful place to be!! Spring is when my work starts slowing down, so I can catch up on all I fell behind on during the year.
The holidays were good (although dear hubby was in Brazil for 20 days - only home for Christmas), and we're looking forward to spring break in a few weeks. The girls are staying VERY busy (which means I am too). But I have to say I'm loving every minute of life right now: enjoying the time I have with family, friends and those I minister to and with. I'm very blessed and try not to take a moment for granted!
