Almost done...

Ok, only a few more weeks to go and then I'll be out of a teaching job!! It's been a lot of fun, but a lot of work and challenges too. I have to be honest and say that I typically didn't hassle teachers or question them, but I now have a whole new appreciation for what they go through... and a greater appreciation for my homeschooling friend. My daughter is ok to teach - just don't think I could do it all the time!!!

S is getting ever so closer to graduation. No finals today, but Monday and Wednesday of next week. Pray all goes well for him. He's not having a fun time right now, but things will get better.

C is refereeing and loving it. She has 3 games left to play for her team, plus 2 summer tourneys. We're all looking forward to the end of the season. It's been a long one. She's not playing goalie the entire game anymore (having let 2 goals by each of the last 2 games) - which isn't bad, especially since she scored a goal in the last game we played!!

A is performing in the school's talent show. For a child who said she'd ONLY do behind the scenes work for her musical theatre class, she's now in front wanting a solo. Since she, another girl, and some dancers were all using the same song, the music teacher combined them into one act. Some aren't happy about it and initially A was disappointed she wouldn't get her solo. Now she seems a little more ok with it all.

I'm honestly looking forward to vacation... and getting back to YM work. I have SO much to do for it - and MUST get some of it completed before vacation!!
