As part of C's soccer tournament we had the chance to spend some time in Disney. The last time we were there was four years ago. C was 8 and A was 5. S had never been there before. So we were primed for some magic in the World.
Unlike our first trip when I was a bit nuts (had to make sure the kids got ALL the Disney magic
possible in the short time we had), I was more relaxed and more focused on everyone having fun and doing the things they wanted to do. We went to Animal Kingdom with a goal of riding 2 rides and seeing one show. We did that and even snuck in an extra ride and a parade. Then it was back to the rooms for rest.

tour you "visit" a working set known as disaster canyon. Riders experience at 5.something earthquake simulation followed by thousands of gallons of water coming right at you, only to fall just before it hits you. We put the kids on the side of the ride for maximum exposure to these elements. It was awesome! S was a little uncertain of the earthquake while C freaked out. A grabbed my pants and C pulled my leg up so she could hold on to me too. Then the water started down and S jumped a mile high - would have ended up in my darling hubby's lap. No, wait, that would be too low. He would have ended up on his shoulder - that's how high S jumped. In the pic you can see him jumping while C is ducking for cover. When the water dropped down they got excited and really started enjoying it.

I'm including some of the pics of our trip. Enjoy!
