Just a quick update

C grew her hair for over a year in order to donate it to Locks for Love. It was hard for her to cut it, but she did it. She looks wonderful with her short 'do and a special someone will benefit. I'm really proud of her. You can see just how short it is now in the soccer pic.

Soccer season is officially over - just 2 tournaments left. C has also survived tryouts for soccer and will continue playing for her team. They'll be Comp 2 (2nd highest level) which is good. We're waiting to hear who all is on the team - hopefully everyone is coming back. She's on a good team with lots of fun people. She really likes her teammates.

A continues to cruise along. Her chef lessons pick up in July, so she has been playing with friends and hanging out with cousins. She's been playing up a storm, either outside or on the computer.

S is enjoying his time back home and looking forward to joining us on vacation later this summer. We're all missing him terribly, but at least he's doing well and having fun. (Since he's home there's no current pic of him - obviously!!) ;-)

Over the weekend we got to see my cousins, including my cousin from AZ, her youngest daughter, her daughter-in-law and her grandson. It was so nice to see everyone again - it's been way too long. We all had a great time chatting, watching the kids play and celebrating 2 graduations. As usual we came home with 4 cousins to spend the night with another 2 spending the night tonight. It's such a blessing that they want to come over and spend the night. They're all such good girls that we can't tell them no. :-)

Finally, it's been a bit of a bummer. My dear best friend finally opened her pool and invited us each day this weekend to come and swim. Yet there is so much going on that we haven't been able to get over there. :-( We love hanging out with them at their pool. Hopefully we'll get there sooner rather than later.
