So this year our school decided to start a track team. And A decided that she would like to try track. After all, she likes running around outside in nice weather, and track is basically running around outside. :-) She also likes that you're basically competing against yourself to better your personal time. A has really come to like track, not just for the exercise part, but also for the friends she's making. It's been a great experience for her. She's competed in one meet, and was happy with how she ran. There were no medals or ribbons for her - but that was ok. She did her best and that was what mattered most to her. And her dad and I agree with that!! Hope you enjoy these pics from her first meet.
